The Caraleigh Community is proud of the Historic Landmark in the community. Caraleigh Mills.In the later year the mill was known as Fred Whitaker Cotton Mill. This historic mill converted to condos was added to National Register of Historic Places in 2001. Listed below is information from National Register regarding Caraleigh Mills.
